Alta Sierra Intermediate has two FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams: Team 14323 - Half-Wit Hatchlings and Team 17094 - E.G.G. There is also the opportunity to join a FIRST LEGO League Challenge team.  All teams begin recruiting for the fall season in the spring of the previous school year with meetings and workshops beginning over the summer.
