7th and 8th grade grade Academic Block (AB) classes are designed to transition students from the self-contained classrooms of elementary schools to the departmentalized classes of secondary education. Classes include one period of English Language Arts (Reading, Writing, and Language) and one period of History (7th: Medieval and Early Modern Times; 8th: U.S. History).
