Registration Timeline: 2022-2023 School Year
8th Grade Registration
February 18th - March 4th
7th grade AB classes will view videos describing the various electives they can request to take as 8th graders.
Week of February 22nd:
Counselors visit 7th grade AB classes to provide instructions for course selection on Student Connect.
Parents/guardians will receive an email with important details about registration.
Elective applications are available on ASI website.
Students may start selecting courses in Course Requests on Student Connect.
All elective applications DUE.
Final day to enter course requests on Student Connect. Students who do not complete registration will be placed in an elective by their counselor.
7th Grade Registration
February 28th - March 20th
February 28th - March 4th:
Counselors will present valuable information regarding the registration and course request process at each elementary site. Students will learn more about ASI and opportunities to get involved.
March 7th - 11th:
Parent/Guardian Information Nights: Virtual
March 14th - 20th:
Counselors will meet with each 6th grade class to register students via Student Connect Course Requests.
All elective applications DUE Sunday, March 20th.
Final day to enter course requests on Student Connect is Sunday, March 20th. Students who do not complete registration will be placed in an elective by their counselor.
9th Grade Registration
March 8th - 19th
BHS counselors will present information about registration and the transition to high school to all 8th grade AB classes. Students will receive their registration form during this presentation. The form will include the name of the Buchanan High School counselor that they have been assigned to. This form will help students plan for registration.
Freshman Parent Night - 5:30 PM in BHS MPR and Online
March 22nd - 24th:
Students will meet with their BHS counselor during their AB class.
Students may add course requests via Student Connect beginning March 14th. When they meet with their counselors, they will review their selections.
