Dear ASI Parents & Guardians,

Each year, Alta Sierra Intermediate hosts both a fall and spring fundraiser to directly benefit our students. Thanks to your generous support last year, we funded student rewards and incentives, spirit shirts, academic competition fees and materials, team shirts, performing arts entrance fees, and more.
This year, we will continue those supports and add a new outdoor sound system to enhance schoolwide activities and events.

How This Fundraiser Works (It’s the Easiest!)

• No products to sell. No door-to-door sales.
• Students simply reach out to approved family and friends to make a tax-deductible donation on behalf of your student.
• All proceeds support ASI students through the Alta Sierra Student Body.

Fundraiser Kickoff was held today in AB Class. 

• During today’s assembly, students were given the opportunity to participate in our fall fundraiser kickoff. As shared in Friday’s newsletter, we asked families to review in advance who their student was allowed to contact by text message. During the assembly, students were permitted to text up to five supporters to ask for sponsorships. This was an optional activity, as not all students have a cell phone.
• What to do next: Please follow up at home and talk with your student about their personal fundraising goals.  Continue to provide them with a list of approved contacts (family/friends) and their phone numbers to text or email addresses to email.

How to Donate

  • Enter your student’s first and last name and AB teacher and AB period as requested.
    
• Check: Payable to Buchanan Foundation.
  • Write your student’s first and last name and AB teacher and AB period in the memo line.
  • Checks can be turned into the Kodiak Office.

Donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. If donating online, a receipt is automatically generated. If donating by check, a receipt is available upon request.

Student Prizes & Class Competitions
Students will earn prizes and participate in fun class competitions based on the total dollars raised for the ASI Student Body.
