Hello, families of future 8th grade Bruins! 

The ASI counselors visited all 7th grade AB classes this week to present to students about 8th grade registration and their elective options. Your student was given a blue paper handout with instructions for registration. If your student missed this presentation, they can come to the Kodiak office to meet with their counselor and pick up the blue handout. They can also download it from our Registration Information page linked here, where they can also watch the 8th Grade Electives Video to review our offerings. 

We will be visiting your student’s Science classroom on either Monday, April 7th or Tuesday, April 8th to help them complete their course requests on Student Connect. During this time, they will input their three non-application elective choices into Student Connect. If your student wishes to apply to an application elective or two, they will need to complete the application(s) on their own time. All applications can be found HERE. 

The deadline for your student’s 8th grade elective course selections is Sunday, April 13th. The deadline to submit applications for application electives is also Sunday, April 13th. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s counselor. Thank you!
