Lunch and after-school labs are two great resources for assistance with homework and other assignments. Even if you don’t need help completing your work, labs provide students with extra time in a focused setting and access to technology. Sometimes a little extra time is all students need to catch up or get ahead!
After-school labs are held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays by teachers who can assist students with subject-specific questions. Chromebooks are provided for student use.
Lunch labs are offered by many Alta Sierra teachers and provide students with direct help on coursework. It is a good idea to check with your teacher ahead of time to see what days they may be available.

Tutor.com is an online tutoring service that gives students free, on-demand academic help—anytime, anywhere. Students can connect live with expert tutors for help in math, science, English, social studies, and more, or submit papers for review and feedback. It’s a great way to get extra support, prepare for tests, or better understand class lessons. Tutor.com helps students build confidence, improve their skills, and take charge of their own learning.
