The Destination Imagination program is a fun, hands-on system of learning that fosters students’ creativity, courage, and curiosity through open-ended academic Challenges in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), fine arts and service learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem-solving process. Teams may showcase their solutions at a regional tournament. Advancing teams may also compete at the state and national level as well.
For more information regarding participation in this program, please contact our site coordinator: Erin Roberts in Room 107 or by email at email@example.com
Two Destination Imagination teams led by science teacher, Erin Roberts, recently competed and placed at the Reginal DI Tournament. This win qualified them for the state tournament. At this tournament, one of the teams tied for first place and will now be qualified to compete in the DI Global Tournament! This team is currently fund-raising to attend the May 25-29th competition in Tennessee. Wow! Good luck, DI Bruins.
